 | | AIDEN and TAKING BACK SUNDAY to support LOSTPROPHETS - 4:30 am, 30th Nov 2006 | It has been announced that AIDEN and TAKING BACK SUNDAY will support LOSTPROPHETS on their arena tour next April. The tour will start on 18th April in Glasgow’s SECC, followed by shows in Manchester, Birmingham and London. Tickets are now on sale from www.ticketmaster.co.uk although some dates have limited availability.

Original tickets remain valid and the gigs have been confirmed for the beginning of January in Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and London. Please see our listings for full details.

The tour will start off in London’s Brixton Academy on 3rd February and will take in Nottingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and Southampton. Tickets for the shows will go on sale at 9am on Friday 1st December from the usual ticket outlets. Please see our listings for full details.
Edited by Vex, 2:42 pm, 7th Jan 2007 | | EMBRACE deny rumours - 10:50 pm, 24th Sep 2006 | Rumours of EMBRACE splitting up have been denied by singer Danny McNamara despite being the one who caused the controversy in the first place. In an interview for BBC6, McNamara said: "I think our next album will be our last ever album. If we get as far as making it and finishing it, I want it to be a masterpiece and I want to take as long as it takes."
However, the next day when questioned by Chris Moyles, he told him: "We're going to make our next album as if it's our last, but we always do that anyway, because that's how we go into these things, you've got to be wholehearted, you know." He went on to say that it wasn't his intention to imply that the band were splitting up as they had no plans to.
Edited by Vex, 5:54 am, 24th Sep 2006 | | AVENGED SEVENFOLD cancel tour - 2:39 am, 23rd Sep 2006 | AVENGED SEVENFOLD have cancelled their October tour as they want to get back in the recording studio to work on a new album. In a press release issued by the band, they said:
"We love our loyal fans and want to continue giving them the freshest, most awesome show and material possible. We’ve been playing songs from City of Evil around the world for 15 months and now feel its time to bring them something new. We’re honoured by the growing audiences wanting to see our show, but feel an obligation to our fans to always give them the best we have to offer. We’ve started writing and can’t wait for our fans to hear what were working on".
The shows are not being rescheduled and refunds will be issued from ticket providers.

The shows, which are part of the band’s European tour, will take place in London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 20th November and in the Manchester Apollo on 21st November. Tickets for both gigs will go on sale via www.ticketmaster.co.uk on Friday 15th September
