 | | MCQUEEN sign deal with Demolition Records - 4:25 am, 22nd Jun 2006 | Brighton based, up and coming rockers MCQUEEN have signed a worldwide deal with Demolition Records to release their hotly anticipated debut album "Break the Silence" later this summer. The album was recorded in between a healthy
touring schedule that has spanned the last two and a half years and features a number of tracks mixed by QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and TOOL producer “Evil” Joe Barressi.

As we previously reported, the October tour will see the band play eight dates with the possibility of other shows added closer to the time. They start off in Portsmouth on the 6th October and take in Cardiff, Birmingham, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, London and Sheffield. With the increased chart success of the band here, tickets for all shows are expected to sell out fast.

Next year, the festival will take place on the 8th, 9th and 10th June 07 and as a thank you to the fans, a limited amount of tickets for will go on sale this Friday (16th June) at 9am from the official Download Website.

This is the third single to be taken from their recently released album "First Impressions Of Earth". As previously announced THE STROKES are performing at the Wireless and T In The Park Festivals during the summer and will also appear as special guests with the FOO FIGHTERS at Old Trafford cricket Ground on Sunday June 18th.
