Erasure Acoustic vs country and western

Erasure Acoustic if your expecting to hear the disco band of the 80's its still there 4 songs in. This is a new erasure going in a different direction
The gig started with new material from the new album. Apart from seeing Vince and Andy I thought i was at the the wrong concert to begin with.
Once i heard the lyrics to Blue Savannagh with a great uptempo country and western beat I and the rest of the concert hall knew we were in the right place. I enjoyed watching the stage turn blue with the rest of the hall light up in front of me.
The vocal range of Andy sounds better live than anything a CD has to offer going from a deep bass (enjoy the solo) to a high pitch.
Songs that i remeber from last night ship of fools, love to hate you, victim of love, stop are still running through my head.
The band encored with the fantastic "respect" and crowd singing and dancing everyone had enjoyable night.
I did miss the synth bits that i have come to enjoy over the years. Vince bring the keyboard next time.
This was a different Erasure and i did enjoy the songs with a new passion the memory will linger on for a while.
